We have been able to utilise Wally’s storytelling abilities and reflective experiences regarding Health and Safety in the workplace as a precursor for our own safety initiatives. He has to some degree become the ‘human face’ to a story that our staff can relate to. Feedback from our staff has been constantly positive. They have found his story both poignant and powerful and something not easily forgotten.
My experience of Wally has been of someone who is professional yet candid. He has great communication skills and has the ability to relate to people far more authentically and effectively because he is telling HIS story.
