After a series of scaffolding near miss incidents at our site, we asked Wally to give us a personal account of the factors and experiences prior, during and after his accident with a view to reminding our workers to appreciate the hazards and attitudes they deal with each day.
Wally exhibited great personal fortitude in his delivery and in so doing made the presentation a cathartic, engaging and memorable experience. His delivery was such that he was able to engage people at all levels through our organisation.
Consequently I would have no problem recommending him to any organisation who is considering initiating a discussion around the behavioural and technical safety aspects giving rise to Wally’s experiences.
